IV. Preparation Before Use
Remove all packaging, clean and dry the water tank, filter, and drip tray.
Fill the water tank with cold water to the MAX line and reinstall the main unit.
Plug in the power; the indicator light will illuminate. Turn the knob to the "Coffee" setting and preheat for 45 seconds until the indicator light remains constantly on.
First Use:
Note: Vacuum extraction is required for first use.
After powering on, click "Start," turn the right knob counter-clockwise to the steam indicator, wait 15 seconds, then return to the original position: "0."
V. Making Espresso
Remove the portafilter and add an appropriate amount of coffee grounds (7g for a single cup / 14g for a double cup).
Tamp down the grounds with the tamper, wiping away any remaining grounds from the edges.
Reinstall the portafilter and tighten it clockwise.
Place the preheated coffee cup under the spout.
Turn the knob to the "Coffee" setting to begin extraction; approximately 25 seconds for a single cup and approximately 30 seconds for a double cup, yielding 25-30 ml / 50-60 ml of espresso.
After extraction, turn the knob back to "Off" to avoid over-extraction.
VI. Making Cappuccino
Complete the espresso extraction as described in step five.
Pour chilled whole milk into the latte art cup until it's 1/3 full.
After preheating, turn the knob to the "Steam" setting and wait for the steam light to stay on.
Turn on the steam knob and spray for 2 seconds to expel condensation.
Insert the steam nozzle at an angle 1 cm below the milk surface and turn on the steam knob. You should hear a hissing sound and see a vortex form; turn it off when the temperature reaches approximately 65°C.
Wipe the nozzle with a towel and spray for 1 second to clean it.
Slowly pour the frothed milk into the espresso to complete a classic cappuccino with 1/3 coffee, 1/3 milk, and 1/3 milk foam.
VII. Cleaning and Maintenance
Daily: Remove the drip tray, water tank, and steam nozzle; rinse with water and let dry.
ekly: Clean the filter and handle with a soft brush and check the safety valve for blockages.
Monthly: Perform a "descaling procedure" using a 1:10 white vinegar solution—fill the water tank to MAX, turn the knob to "Coffee," let two cups of water drain, then let it stand for 15 minutes. Rinse three times consecutively with clean water.
Long-term storage: Drain the water tank and any remaining water in the boiler, and store in a dry, well-ventilated area.
VIII. Safety Warnings
