The LETSHUOER S08 features a custom fourth-generation 13mm planar magnetic driver, developed through LETSHUOER’s hands-on approach. Compared to previous planar magnetic drivers, this driver offers improvements in every aspect of sound performance and significantly enhances the stability of the planar magnetic unit.

Dual-Coil Custom Planar Magnetic Driver

 

In addition to the single-layer voice coil circuit found in traditional drivers, the nano-magnetron sputtering technology applies an additional layer of voice coil material to the diaphragm. This transforms the S08’s driver diaphragm into a dual-layer voice coil circuit. Benefits include enhanced diaphragm vibration control, reduced resonance frequencies, minimized distortion caused by diaphragm resonance, and significantly improved overall transient response.

Nano Magnetron Sputtering Process

 

The LETSHUOER S08 IEMs utilize a nano-magnetron sputtering process, a high-end manufacturing method that involves sputtering copper material onto the substrate of the planar driver’s diaphragm. This process ensures high stability and a long service life.

Diaphragm with Surround

 

A PTR elastic film is incorporated around the edge of the voice coil, providing the diaphragm with greater flexibility and stability. This effectively optimizes low-frequency performance, significantly enhances bass depth, and delivers a tighter bass response.
